Formerly, she was CEO & co-founder of Pluralytics, where she led its growth and secured a patent for its groundbreaking combination of AI, behavioral and data science, and language generation. Pluralytics was acquired by Aletheia in July 2024. Pluralytics is the leading AI values-based precision content intelligence and performance platform. She is currently Chair of the Lumina Foundation board, a leading foundation focused on post-high school attainment and opportunity for all Americans.
Previously, as CEO and Executive Chairman of PRI – Public Radio International, she was the first woman to head a national public radio network and led PRI’s 2018 merger with PRX creating a substantial audio network and podcasting powerhouse with over 100M downloads monthly.
She is a Council on Foreign Relations lifetime member and a recipient of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award. Her TEDTalks on the power of media to shape perception have been viewed 2.3MM+ times and translated into 51 languages.
